Know Zone Podcast
A ten- to sixty-minute podcast presented by Nike Roach and Jesse Almanza offers a wealth of information for veterans. Listeners can expect to find topics on veteran resources, VSOs, veteran-owned businesses, Dollars Make Sense, survivors benefits, home-buying benefits, Most Common Claims Filed, and interviews with veteran organizations. Community Connections
Meeting another veteran is a privilege! Community connections occur through scheduled events and in chance encounters. While Gulf War Era Veteran Inc. members enjoy meeting new veterans at Chamber events, county fairs, farmers' markets, the Richard Childress Center, or in a parking lot, our door is open to welcome questions and followers. Please search our Facebook page to become a friend of the Private Group and gain insightful information about our movement! (Be prepared to answer a few questions regarding your service.)
Veterans' Education Forum
The Gulf War Veterans Education Forum is held the second Saturday of every month starting at 10:00AM. The Forum location is at 8494 Lasater Rd. Clemmons, NC 27012. We invite all veterans and family members to ask questions and tell their stories! Local community organizations such as V.A. representatives, veteran small business owners, and veteran support groups openly discuss what's important to veterans and their family. Gulf War Era Veteran Inc. encourages veterans in the community to exchange stories, ask questions, and gain a wealth of information!
